Mission Met discusses our ongoing efforts to integrate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) into our organizational practices through a series of workshops which is part of our broader commitment to creating a more equitable and inclusive workplace.

A recent workshop focused on the intersection of diversity and project management and we want to share more about it with you.

The training explored how incorporating diverse perspectives can enhance project management processes and outcomes. The workshop also highlighted the importance of being aware of biases that might affect decision-making in project management and strategies to mitigate these biases.

We discussed practical approaches to embedding DEIJ principles into our project management practices, such as ensuring diverse representation in project teams, encouraging open dialogue, and considering the impact of projects on different stakeholders.
